Manchester United could be without Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand for Real Sociedad's visit, but Adnan Januzaj is available.
Both Vidic and Ferdinand are considered doubts ahead of the Champions League tie and missed training on Tuesday as a result of respective minor knocks.
Phil Jones and Jonny Evans started at the heart of defence in the 1-1 draw with Southampton at the weekend and will do so against the Spanish side if both Vidic and Ferdinand are unavailable.
Midfielder Tom Cleverley and striker Danny Welbeck also missed training on Tuesday and may be forced to sit out Sociedad's visit.
However, rising star Januzaj is available as he qualifies as a homegrown player and as such has been added to United's Champions League squad.
Boss David Moyes has indicated the Belgian-born 18-year-old could make his European bow on Wednesday evening.
"He is now available for the Champions League by the way his date of birth works. He's an exciting young player making good progress all the time and he is someone who is going to play a big part in the future of Manchester United. He's an exceptional talent," said the United boss.
